A Closer Look

History

Minick Interiors celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2014. The business originally started out in a Summer-2013Windsor Hotel space on Jackson Street with about 900 sq ft. in 2004, then moved to Cotton Avenue to a small space of about 1,100 sq ft in Americus Furniture in 2006. In 2009 Minick Interiors took over the much larger space, acquiring 15,000 sq ft to showcase Mark’s design elements of furniture, bedding, china, gifts, rugs, wallpaper, children’s items. It was exciting because there was room now to evolve and expand to include much more of Mark’s vision, but sad because a landmark store in Americus closed down. Minick Interiors has always felt that supporting local business is so important, not just during the Christmas season, but all year round. And it is this principle that has made Minick Interiors the store it is today.
